Happy Birthday Tal

Tal had an awesome birthday at the lake this year, he invited two of his cousins and they knee boarded and rode the tube and had a great time.

He got a new mountain bike, paint ball gun and some toy guns for his birthday, what more could a boy want.

Summer Recap

Well since the kids start school tomarrow, I guess I should do my recap of the summer. It was a blast, with days at the lake, family reunions, and all around good times. Kia got up on water ski's for the first time ever, and Tal had a fabulous birthday at the lake. Reunion's with children painting the mens toenails, and 5K's ran by Rob and Kia. Stieg spending a couple weeks with Grandpa, and a get away to Vegas with just Rob and I. Now I'm ready for changing leaves, cooler temps and camping trips.

Play ball

Kia and Talon both played little league this year. Talon loved it he usually played 3rd base, and always got a couple good hits. Kia started the season as the catcher and by the end of the season, was her fast pitch softball teams pitcher. She did a great job, and will probably try for majors next year.

But Rob is really OLD

But still a Hottie. Hope you had a Great Birthday. Love ya tons, and appreciate everything you do for me and our family. You are a great man.
I thought I'd get all my blogging done in one day, so you should hear from me again in 4 to 5 months. No really I'll try to do better, no not really.

Kissing Girls

This is what happens when you've been kissing girls. They punch you and your teeth fall out.
But he won't admit it. No corn on the cob for Tal for a while.

I'm Old

I guess I should put on here that in Feb. Stieg turned 13!!! I can't believe I have a teenager. He is such a good young man. He enjoys drawing, hunting, and riding his motorcycle. Stieg is such a big help with the kids and I usually can depend on him to help me with anything. He has become quite popular with the girls, and I remind him constantly that girls stink, but I'm not sure I've convinced him. Love Ya Son

Goodbye and Hello

Easter weekend, was a tough weekend for our family it meant saying goodbye to a wonderful friend. Our German Shepard Elsie, was nine and a half years old, we got her as a pup when Kia was 6 months and she had been a great friend. We had to say Goodbye to her, as her back hips could no longer support her and we were having to carry her everywhere. Talk about a tough decision but we know she is much happier now. I took this pic of the kids taking her water and food to her because she couldn't walk. They sat down on the lawn for almost a hour playing with her. Trax still thinks she is at the doc. and will be coming home, he even has gone around the back yard looking for her. She will be missed.

And then.... We have really great friends out here. They found these two German Shepard pups in SG and bought one for us, and Robs parents bought the other. So we would like you to meet Kersa, and Laska, sisters. The kids had no idea, they were so supprised it was so fun to watch.

I think the boys were pretty excited to see a new pup, this is Kersa. The puppies mother is a pure white shepard, and their dad is a blue, black and tan shepard.

Laska is a Blue, her eyes are blue and so is her skin.

This little pup doesn't know what she is in for, Trax loves her and packs her every where.

MAKEUP

If ever you can't find this princess just look in the bathroom, she probably is in getting "So Pretty Mommy". Don't you just love her mascara ?!

Easter and life

Well I guess I ought to update this for the 2 readers of my blog. Life, Well it's been a little interesting out here. Rob lost his job in March, we are getting ready to pursue a wrongful termination suit, which is not really our personality, but it's what we have to do, to uncover the true reason Rob was fired. Rob discovered some questionable payments made to the water board Pres. and since questioning them lost his job as supervisor. Can't say too much more other than now we are depending on plumbing only which is a little scary out here. Not a lot going on, but most of the towns people are good people, and very supportive helping us with finding work. Other than that it's been good.

So, on to Easter we came and spent most of the week before Easter in SG and it was fun. The kids helped Grandma and Grandpa do yard work and they got to spend a little time with some of their cousins that they miss so much. We had a great Easter picnic on the Red Hill.

Then all of Rob's family met at Rob's parents
for a BBQ, Easter Hunt and fun. The Bunny even found us at Grandmas house.

9 kids

Well it was my sister in laws Birthday this last weekend and Rob's brother asked if we could watch their boys while they had a little get away. Rob had a calling contest with my dad and so I had 9 kids in this 1300 sq ft home. Yes, it was a little crazy, but my kids had a blast. They miss their cousins so much since the move, and it was great to have them. They are good boys and we had fun.

A giant

Check this thing out we went for a ride and found this in a yard.

The Flood

The day after Christmas Rob and I took a couple of presents back to the house and the pipes were frozen. Well we didn't think much of it and headed back to SG. After we got back to town we thought we should of shut the water off. We called our friends back in Panaca to go check the house, and at about 11:30 pm we got a call that the pipes had broke and the house was flooded. So Rob and I headed for Panaca to see the damage. The living room ceiling had fallen, the wood floor warped, carpets soaked, and as you can imagine it was a mess. We cleaned up the best we could and headed back to SG, climbing in bed at about 4 am. Our friends that own the house did a great job of cleaning it up and repairing everything while the kids and I stayed in SG. We are almost back to normal, just a couple missing baseboards and a little more painting and everything will be finished. What an experiance and one I hope never to have again.

WOW

Wow what a holiday season. We came to SG on Christmas Eve and headed right to Rob's
Extended Family Party. My kids love this party and it has been a tradition since Rob was little. Santa comes and usually brings the kids PJ's, we exchange gifts, eat, and have a nativity. This year I scanned a bunch of old and new photos of the whole family in my computer and I made a DVD. I think everyone enjoyed watching and remembering memories that went along with the pics.

We spent the night at Rob's parents house, which was really fun to have them there while the kids opened their presents. Some of the highlights are camo coat and coveralls for Stieg, a new mattress and headboard for Kia, a 22 single shot for Talon, a toy gun and target for Traxton, and a rocking chair and cabbage patch for Ferryn. Then Rob's sisters and brother families came for breakfast and more gift exchanges. Then off to my parents house for lunch with my extended family and more and more gifts. It was a busy and enjoyable Christmas day.
